This course provides an overall exposure to the technology of Industrial Automation and Control as widely seen in factories of all types both for discrete and continuous manufacturing. It is designed to equip beginners with no prior PLC programming experience with the basic tools necessary to create a complete PLC program using ladder logic common to most current platforms. The focus shall be on the use of all Micrologix and SLC family using RSlogix 500 platform. The training will be complemented by class workshops, discussion on industry best practices and other reference materials.
